The sharedealing service is provided by Stocktrade, a division of Brewin Dolphin Securities, a member of the London Stock Exchange.
The service allows customers to buy and sell shares online or over the telephone.
The sharedealing service is available to everyone, regardless of whether deals are frequent or infrequent, and whether investors are experienced or totally new to sharedealing.
Deals can be done from 11 per deal online.
David Jackson, head of e-commerce at Yorkshire, says: We are constantly looking to add value to Yorkshires online offerings and the new services we are offering today can potentially save hundreds of pounds and a lot of time.
Up to now the web is best known for the purchase of consumer goods but the services sector is catching up quickly.
These two services will enhance not only the experience of our own customers but since they are available to everyone, hopefully some new ones too.
