Rightmove offers free house with McDonalds

Rightmove and McDonald’s are teaming up to offer the grand prize of a £240,000 house as part of the Bigger Win Monopoly promotion.

The grand prize is won via collection of the Park Lane and Mayfair property game stickers, hidden amongst thousands of property game stickers given away with selected McDonald’s food purchases.

The collect to win promotion will run for six weeks, from March 28 to May 8. McDonald’s customers will receive free property game stickers when they purchase selected items from the menu and can collect these stickers, until they have a complete colour co-ordinating set, which they can then use to redeem prizes.

Rightmove will feature in a TV promotion, where large silver iconic monopoly playing pieces are placed around Britain, met by a public reactions.

Miles Shipside, commercial director, of Rightmove, says: “As Rightmove is only seven years old, we are thrilled to be working alongside highly regarded and established brands such as Thomas Cook, HMV and Sony in the promotion.

“It just shows how the public has taken to property advertising on the Internet. As the website with the most properties in one place, Rightmove and the Bigger Win Monopoly promotion are exceptionally suited.”


Finance arm rebranded

Spicerhaart has rebranded its financial subsidiary Mortgages Direct to Spicerhaart Financial Services. The renaming will bring the organisation into line with the company’s estate agency branches. The financial arm will continue to operate within the 250 branches, adopting the branch name from each of the brands – haart, Felicity J Lord, SpicerMcColl or Darlows.
