Mortgage Brain to launch packager proposition

Mortgage Brain and the Mortgage Trading Exchange have announced the launch of an exclusive packager proposition.

The new offering, which includes significant product developments such as enhanced adverse and buy-to-let sourcing, and increased distribution channels, was announced at its packager conference, held at the Cavendish Conference Centre in London on Friday March 23.

In addition to the sourcing system developments, the packager proposition also includes a service for the MTE, which can be set up and ready for live transactions within a matter of weeks, and will enable all mortgage packagers to secure the benefits of mass distribution and electronic trading at a low cost.

With over 40 participants, the packager conference was also used to discuss key issues facing mortgage packagers in 2007.

By demonstrating how mortgage sourcing and electronic trading can help to develop a packagers businesses, the event was also designed to help forge better relations between packagers and sourcing systems and identify clear actions and opportunities available.

Mark Lofthouse, chief executive officer of Mortgage Brain and the MTE, says: One of the main reasons for this conference was to show packagers that we are there for them, that we respect and understand their needs, and to show them that our products can work for them.

The developments weve recently made to our systems sourcing capabilities, along with the new mte service proposition, have all been specifically designed to meet the needs of packagers.

Having now had the opportunity to interact directly and have open discussions with a host of different packagers we are confident that we will continue to improve our products and services to ensure that real and substantial benefits can be realised both now and in the future.
