RPS expands distribution

Risk Placement Services, the online provider of special risk and impaired life insurance products, will now be available to advisers via Mortgage Promotions, Personal Touch and Whitechurch.

The three organisations have a combined adviser base of nearly 5,000.

Nick Baxter, director of Mortgage Promotions, says: “We aim to provide our directly authorised members with the best possible service and recognise that it is important for them to have access to the types of products RPS can offer.

“We are delighted that RPS has joined our buying group, which will significantly assist our members in finding the most suitable special risk protection products in a cost and time-efficient manner.”

Kevin Broadbent, sales director of RPS, says: “We are pleased to see that mortgage clubs and networks are recognising the importance of special risk insurance and the types of products we offer.

“This is an exciting opportunity to expand our special risk service online, and we are confident that opening our service to nearly 5,000 advisers via these distribution channels will directly help to close the £65m industry cost burden.”
