Scottish Widows launches IFA roadshows

Scottish Widows is to embark on a series of IFA roadshows during May and June 2004 designed to provide positive contributions to the development of an IFA&#39s business.

The Investing With Confidence roadshows will look at developments within the investment market and provide IFAs with the opportunity to interact with key specialists from Scottish Widows, Scottish Widows Investment Partnership and investment partners from Jupiter and New Star.

Peter Jordan, marketing director at Scottish Widows, says: “With confidence rising in the market, Scottish Widows believes now is a good time to look at developments within the investment market. With this in mind, we have organised the Investing With Confidence roadshows. They not only form part of Scottish Widows&#39 ongoing commitment to the IFA market, but also provide an opportunity for IFAs to benefit from the knowledge and insight of leading experts in our industry.”

At the roadshows Ken Adams, Mike Channing, Cameron Murray and other SWIP experts will talk on the effect on markets of global growth in economies and on successful property investment

Peter Jordan will be speaking on investment and product trends in the unit-linked life market, and Anne Young or Paul Thompson from the Scottish Widows Techtalk team will provide commentary on the Budget and the outlook for life bonds.
