Pink announces details of 2004 awards

Pink Home Loans has once again teamed up with Mortgage Strategy to host the second Pink Home Loans Service Awards which are exclusively dedicated to the recognition of service excellence in the mortgage industry.

These annual awards capture the views of the whole of the market and an independent company will collate the voting results from a cross-section of the intermediary sector.

The industry will be given the opportunity to vote for lenders and brokers in a total of 18 categories including best overall lender of the year and best service overall from a company and from an individual.

Following valuable feedback after last year&#39s event, the voting categories have been updated to ensure that the recognition of service excellence remains the key driver. The voting process is both simple and straightforward to encourage a high response rate and to ensure that the results are genuinely representative of the whole market.

Intermediaries will be asked to provide their views on the service they receive from lenders via an email questionnaire or by completing a voting form available from both Pink Home Loans and Mortgage Strategy&#39s website (www.mortgagestrategy.co.uk). The results will be collated independently.

A panel of lenders will be asked to nominate and vote for brokers from the whole of the marketplace by completing a voting form and allotting the nominees a score based on service criteria such as submission quality and innovation.

Tony Jones, managing director of Pink Home Loans, says: “Nominations will be based on objective criteria and reviewed independently, which will give credibility to the final results.”

And Robyn Hall, editor of Mortgage Strategy, says: “We&#39re delighted to be working in association with Pink Home Loans once more to host this spectacular awards evening. The Pink Home Loans Service Awards in association with Mortgage Strategy is the only industry event that truly rewards those lenders and intermediaries that put service at the top of the agenda.”

The ceremony will be held at the Botanical Gardens in Birmingham on Thursday September 23 2004.
