New boardroom faces for Chancery Law Group

Chancery Law Group, the nationwide supplier of estate planning via financial intermediaries, has appointed former PWC partner Richard D Sidery as financial director and Bruce Boswell as business development director .

The appointments have the effect of doubling the size of Chancery&#39s board in line with its rise in turnover. The two join managing director Tony Gimple and Chairman Matthew Gilchrist Bennett.

Sidery will be responsible for helping CLG meet its ambitious financial targets during the coming year. Over the past year the company has tripled its sales, partly on the back of rising interest in Inheritance Tax avoidance.

Boswell is an experienced manager with many years&#39 hands-on practical experience in running direct sales forces. His main roles at Chancery Law Group will be in corporate relationship development and affinity group management, but he will also provide motivation and management to the sales team. Bruce is also responsible for the development and delivery of the company&#39s sales training programmes.
