Title Deed: Convex Conveyancing

Convex Conveyancing was set up in 2003 by founder and managing director Duncan Samuel.

“We wanted to develop a new approach to the conveyancing process, making it quicker and more cost-effective for consumers while providing them with a top quality service,” says Samuel.

When it came to choosing its name, Samuel knew it had to be something that reflected these aspects while standing out from the crowd.

“The name Convex derives from the dictionary definition of the word – curved like a lens that makes things clearer and easier to see,” he says. “It also has the advantage of being made up of the first two syllables of express conveyancing, which is what we’re all about.

“The star logo is made up of the key elements of a road map, which relates to guiding clients through the twists and turns of the conveyancing process in a simple, fast and effective way. Convex is also related to the word ‘salient’, meaning noticeable or prominent, conspicuous and important.

“The name and logo together highlight the benefits we think form the Convex Conveyancing proposition,” he adds. “Clients are kept informed instantly by email and correspondence can be accessed online at any time, anywhere. Even in chains, we average just 34 days to exchange and 43 to completion.”
