Alexander Hall aiming for 120 brokers by year-end

Alexander Hall has launched a recruitment drive in a bid to install brokers in every Foxtons’ estate agency branch in London by the end of 2007.

The Foxtons-owned brokerage has 85 brokers but aims to increase this number to 120 by December.

There are 20 Foxtons offices across London and Surrey. Alexander Hall has advisers in 10 of these at the mo-ment but plans to have four or five in each office by the end of the year.

Alexander Hall has hired Richard Campo as technical adviser to manage its expansion.

Andy Pratt, chief operating officer at Alexander Hall, says: “Foxtons’ off-ices are one-stop shops for customers who have the benefit of seeing brokers as well as an estate agents.

“This makes it easier for clients as they can kill two birds with one stone. The system works well because it also gives support to estate agents who are comfortable referring business to brokers. It makes us a sort of estate agency supermarket.”
