Boost for UnderwriteMe

Quote comparison software provider UnderwriteMe has been adopted by four insurers, with a further three firms set to “go live” in the next quarter as part of a phased introduction.

Exeter Family Friendly, Scottish Provident, Scottish Friendly and SunLife are all using the software, which aims to simplify the protection sales process by providing estimated price comparisons, as well as fully underwritten prices and available benefits at the point of sale.

UnderwriteMe chief executive Martin Werth says: “This is a very exciting first step towards the launch of our multi-insurer comparison proposition. The protection market has significant potential if we can more effectively engage with customers and advisers to simplify the buying and selling process.”
