Vesta adds Kensington to panel

Branded lender and packager Vesta Packaging has appointed Kensington Mortgages to its lending panel, taking its total number of lenders to 24.

Mark Leaper, managing director of Vesta, sees the appointment as a valuable addition to an already extensive panel.

He says: “This will enhance our ability to provide solutionsto our introducers’ enquiries, as Kensington Mortgages offers niche areas of criteria in the sub-prime market that were previously unavailable to us.”

The Vesta lender panels now covers the whole mortgage market from heavy sub-prime, buy-to-let and bridging to secured, self-cert and prime.

As well as Kensington, the panel includes Mortgages PLC, Platform, Southern Pacific Mortgages Limited, Preferred, First National, Infinity, Future, Beacon Homeloans and Chelsea.

Leaper adds: “As the market becomes more competitive we are finding brokers are valuing those packagers that offer a higher level of service than normal.

“Given the rising number of brokers that use us, we feel we have to offer the maximum number of lender options.”
