Rudolph Donkers will take up the post of chairman of risk management firm Stater N.V. on December 1 to replace Rik Douwes who left the company at the beginning of July.
Donkers, is 47 and studied law, business economics and did an MBA in New York and Rotterdam after which he gained broad senior experience in a 17 year career within the ABN AMRO Bank.
At ABN AMRO he developed his entrepreneurial and commercial skills in positions such as regional director and also in the product development division of the business unit Nederland where he had overall responsibility for the Securities Operations.
The company says that Donkers appointment as the chairman of the managing board, where he will work closely with director Harry de Brauw, reinforces and supports the change of
direction that was announced earlier this year.
Stater has changed its strategy to approach large players in the European and Dutch markets, as well as continuing to enhance its relationship with its current clients.
