Buoyant MoneyQuest seeks talent

MoneyQuest is on a recruitment drive after seeing business levels rise by more than 30% since February.

The brokerage is seeking new talent at its offices in Glasgow and Nottingham. Further jobs could be available for mortgage advisers seeking to work elsewhere.

In late April, moneyQuest was revealed as the new fulfilment partner for price comparison web-site

Rob Clifford, non-executive direc-tor at moneyQuest, says: “Since last autumn we have been working hard on tenders and negotiations to win business from competitors. Some of those affinity deals are delivering excellent results and we have others due to go public in coming weeks.”



Mortgage lending down 12% in April

Gross mortgage lending declined to an estimated £10.2bn in April, down 12% from £11.6bn in March and 1% from £10.3bn in April 2009, according to new data from the Council of Mortgage Lenders.
