Former Stroud & Swindon commercial director joins M2 Financial

Former Stroud & Swindon commercial director Paul Chafer is to join M2 Financial in May.

Chafer will take up the position of commercial director at the financial advice firm just after the May bank holiday weekend of May 24 and May 25.

The headquarters of M2 Financial are based in Nottingham and the firm provides independent advice on personal finance, tax, inheritance, retirement and loan planning.

Chafer will work under Mark Howard, managing director of M2 Financial.

He will undertake the role of generating revenue streams through the M2 Financial sales force, new ventures and new partnerships.

Chafer says: “M2 Financial is one of the fast growing firms that provides independent financial advice with a sales force of about 25. The plan is to expand this team.

“The managing director has a clear three-year plan to grow and develop the business.”

He adds: “I am really looking forward to the challenge. I was impressed by the individuals at M2 Financial and I have admiration for the way in which they have developed the business. I felt this was too good an opportunity to miss.”
