Thompson to stay put at L&G Mortgage Club

Ben Thompson has revealed he is no longer leaving Legal & General Mortgage Club.

Earlier this month Thompson, director of mortgages at L&G Mortgage Club, revealed he would be leaving the firm to rejoin Towergate Partnership, the parent firm of his previous employer Paymentshield, following six months of gardening leave. This is no longer the case.

A spokesman for L&G says: “The decision has been made for personal reasons as circumstances have chang-ed in the past week.”

Thompson will now continue in the role of director of mortgages at the mortgage club.
