Personal Touch launches expansion plan

Personal Touch Packaging is set to launch a packager franchise operation called Franchise Partners.

The aim of the initiative is to widen PTP’s distribution. Franchise Partners currently consists of 12 packaging operations, primarily targeting regions of the UK where PTP doesn’t have a presence.

“Two more firms are also set come on board. Ideally PTP says it wants to have in place between 15 and 20 Franchise Partnerships in operation across the UK.

Each franchise has been set up as a joint venture between PTP and the individual firm. PTP will continue to conduct the initial Decision in Principle but the Franchise Partners will then be responsible for the whole of the mortgage process, including liaising with lenders.

Rob Jupp, managing director at PTP, says: “It is great to be able to expand our proposition once again, this time with Franchise Partners.

“It is important to us at PTP to ensure that we are considering our brokers needs.

“This is another way that we are adding to the services that we provide for our intermediaries.”
