Equity Advice unveils strategic partnership

Equity Advice, the national referral service for professional introducers, has unveiled a strategic partnership with Cotswold Mortgage Services.

The independent telephone-based advice centre Equity Advice, which launched in 2005, has agreed to promote its services to over 100 members of specialist mortgage network Cotswold Mortgage Services.

Its services are accessed via a web-based referral process and it is not necessary for the network member to hold Financial Services Authority permissions for equity release as Equity Advice advises the client directly.

Services on offer include raising income or capital, lifetime loans, reversionary schemes and interest-only mortgages.

Stuart Wilson, managing director of Equity Advice, says: “Cotswold Mortgage Services, under the direction of Paul Platten and the management team, has set the standard in the mortgage marketplace.

“Its members benefit from an industry leading package of benefits and services and we are proud to be able to add the Equity Release referral service to this wide choice of facilities.

“We are really looking forward to working with it in the coming months.”

Members will also be able to access services via Equity Advice franchisees to deliver face-to-face advice if they prefer this option to the central telephone-based team.

Paul Platten, director of Cotswold Mortgage Services, says: “This is a very valuable service to our expanding network who can pass the lead to Equity Advice with the confidence that the client will receive a professional service.”
