Freedom adds BIA to its distribution panel

Freedom Lending, the Wilmslow based specialist mortgage lender, has added Berkley Independent Advisers to its distribution panel.

BIA is a subsidiary of Berkeley Berry Birch. The company, which serves both authorised representatives and directly authorised brokers, will market the entire Freedom Lending product range, which includes self-cert, buy-to-let, let-to-buy and sub-prime products, to mortgage brokers throughout the UK.

Colin Snowdon, managing director at Freedom Lending, says: “Berkeley Independent Advisers has enjoyed a strong reputation for many years and its great news that they will be joining our panel of distributors. Everyone at Freedom Lending is looking forward to working with the BIA team in Coventry over the coming weeks.”

Dale Knight, director of mortgages at BIA, says: “We are very pleased to be adding Freedom Lending to the Berkeley Mortgage Club. Our members can place business with Freedom via our two approved packagers, Members Mortgages and IMB. Freedoms affordability calculation and its on-track range are both refreshing ways of solving age-old problems and I have no doubt they will prove to be extremely popular with our members.”
