SMS voted packager of the year

Solent Mortgage Services, the national branded mortgage arranger has just been named packager of the year by lending partner Preferred.

This is the fourth time SMS has been voted packager of the year by Preferred.

SMS, one of the largest branded mortgage arrangers, has enjoyed a long term relationship with Preferred, and through its Trafalgar Homeloans brand, was one of the first packagers to partner Preferred when it launched into the branded lending market.

Paul Robinson, chief executive officer at SMS, says: To win this award for the 4th time in a row, against some stiff competition, is remarkable. All credit to the staff at SMS for making it happen and our thanks go to Preferred for the support they have given us, particularly those members of their staff who work alongside ours, to provide the excellent service our intermediaries have come to expect.

Commenting on the relationship with SMS, Shaun IAnson, head of mortgage processing at Preferred, says: The staff at SMS have again demonstrated why it is such a leader in the packaging industry. The relationship we have has matured over time and while Preferred has made the tools available, SMS has provided the will and the expertise to make it such a success. Many congratulations to all concerned.
