Online service launched by Co-Owenership Housing Association

Northern Ireland Co-Ownership Housing is now making it easier for potential first-time buyers, vendors and estate agents to access information on co-ownership through the launch of a range of new online information services.

Alan Crowe, chief executive at the Co-Ownership Housing Association, believes the new website will be a valuable resource for all those in the property chain.

He says: “The new website offers step by step guides to everything buyers, vendors and estate agents need to know about buying a home through Co-Ownership. These additional features to our existing online services are an important step in smoothing the home buying process helping more people to get onto the first run of the property ladder.

Co-Ownership is now a major force in the first time buyer property market and through the Corporate Information Area we will be revealing future plans and projects and highlighting how people can get involved with our work.

New features on the site at www.co-ownership.org include, an online internet buyers information pack comprising of a co-ownership fact file, personal checklist to help home buyers compare their options, a tool box that provides handy links to mortgage information and cost comparisons between different products, money saving tips and a step by step guides on how to buy and sell a home this way.

Crowe says: As well as offering prospective Co-Ownership buyers the information they need about the scheme, the new website also provides vendors looking to sell their home to a Co-Ownership buyer top tips to help speed up the sale of their home. The site also provides financial advisers with a focused checklist of information on Co-Ownership and details of how to register with us.”
