Mortgages for Business expands B2B operation

Mortgages for Business has expanded its business to business operation and has hired Mike Freeman to manage its mortgage technical desk and deal placement team.

Freeman will be the key contact for any deal placement concerns, issues or advice.

Freeman has previously worked for Mortgage Trust for 18 years, where his roles varied from loan application handling, portfolio handling and managing the customer service department.

His most recent position was senior underwriter and mandate holder.

Nick Blunt, head of business partner development at Mortgages for Business, says: “We are delighted to have had Mike join the team. Mike is an influential addition to the deal placement team and his arrival has already bolstered the deal placement desk significantly.” He adds: “Despite the difficult market conditions, Mortgages for Business broker and business partner services continue to prosper. We not only have in place the best support services, but we also have the best lender relationships, commissions and technology for the buy-to-let market.”
