Mortgage Choice selected to join the Mortgage Alliance&#39s packager panel

Manchester-based Mortgage Choice is not a network, and will provide a packaging route to TMA for its 6,000 members that are already in a network and who prefer to use a non-network packaging facility, and also for general users.

Steve Atkins, head of The Mortgage Alliance, says: “An important growth area for The Mortgage Alliance is providing white label mortgage club facilities for IFA and mortgage networks. We are delighted to welcome Mortgage Choice to our packager panel, to widen our packaging choice and offer a non-network packager option for those who prefer it, as well as providing a high quality packaging service. In addition, our mortgage club facilities are open to directly authorised firms who are not part of a network, whereas some mortgage clubs are restricting access to their own ARs.”

Doug Hall, sales director at Mortgage Choice, says: “Our strategy to remain a non-network packager is proving effective, as we are not regarded as a competitor by networks that need a packaging facility. We are pleased to be joining The Mortgage Alliance&#39s packager panel as it&#39s sixth packaging member, and we are confident that we can enhance the service offered by TMA and that both businesses will continue to expand rapidly.”

Mortgage Choice has recently appointed Ben de Loup as key account manager to manage the

to day-to-day requirements of TMA white labelled members and general users. As an

additional service to TMA members, Mortgage Choice will be verifying all products on Trigold.
