Overseas buyers returning to UK market

Overseas buyers using the internet to search for new homes in the UK has risen by 60% over the past year, new-build consumer website has revealed.

This massive increase reflects the increasing confidence of overseas buyers in the UK after a marked absence from the market following the events of September 11.

The internet, where 82% of all prospective buyers will initiate theirsearch for a new home, is especially important for buyers from outside the UK due to the high cost of personal viewings.
