Magazines make it easy for criminals out to steal ID

From Des Tourick

Why do magazines such as Mortgage Strategy persist delivering their weekly issues to me using plastic bags with my name and address printed directly on them, especially in this day and age when identity theft is known to be a major problem?

It is impossible to shred these bags and surely a much simpler answer is available.

A sheet of paper within the bag would allow delivery and also easy disposal of my identity, thus preventing the potential of theft.
