Having just read the leader in last week’s issue on the subject of lead generation, I have a few observations to make.
The first paragraph states that to ensure to a steady pool of new clients a broker must either obtain leads from their own website or via a lead generator. But surely it is true that the most profitable brokers who read this publication generate their best business by means of referrals.
I have been in the mortgage industry for three years and my main concern when it comes to business generation is to acquire better clients, not more of them.
Finding someone the best mortgage deal for their circumstances is not rocket science – getting good quality clients is the hardest part of the job.
Your suggested routes to securing these quality customers are the worst options, in my opinion.
