Assurant Intermediary joins PMS

Assurant Intermediary has joined PMS’s general insurance panel.

Assurant Intermediary is a provider of general insurance products and both its ASU and building and contents insurance are now available to members.

Its ASU policy can be taken out to cover both mortgages and rent and is limited to 75% of the client’s gross salary.

Martin Reynolds, development director at PMS, says: “We are delighted to add Assurant Intermediary to our General Insurance offering. General insurance can create valuable revenue streams at a time when intermediaries may have to make up for lost income.”

Kevin Paterson, sales and marketing director at Assurant Intermediary, adds: “We strongly believe the sale of general insurance products should be a core part of every adviser’s offering, not just in the tough times but in long term future as well. To achieve this, we recognise that our products must be consumer centric and that advisers must be able to access them easily and compare the market offering efficiently.”
