Broker marketing tool pushes direct products

Home Buyer Systems has launched a broker marketing tool to help brokers explain to clients that lender products may be more competitive.

The sourcing and compliance company says its marketing templates are designed as a sales aid for brokers who want to start charging fees for advice.

Templates are now included as standard for users of Home Buyer System and HBS Lite.

Richard Angliss, managing director of Home Buyer Systems, argues brokers need to be able to offer whole of market sourcing in order to survive.

He says: “Mortgage brokers are now engaged in a survival of the fittest struggle and only those who can adapt their businesses to the current market conditions will be able to survive and prosper.

“We have developed these marketing templates, both to explain the current marketplace – including the reasons why broker admin fees need to be charged – and to stimulate customer interest in using the broker’s services.”

Angliss adds: “Brokers still offer added value and can deliver big savings for borrowers.

“We hope that our marketing tool will help brokers to get that point across to their potential customers.”
