Edinburgh to lease B2L homes

Some 1,500 buy-to-let properties are to made available to City of Edinburgh Council through an ambitious private sector leasing scheme.

Under the plan, the authority leases the housing neededthrough a specialist provider who sources the properties from buy-to-let landlords.

Property services group Orchard & Shipman has contracted with the Council to procure 1,500 properties over the next five years.
