BUDGET 2007: Income Tax down 2p in 2008

Gordon Brown has ended his 11th budget by revealing Income Tax will fall 2p in the pound, from 22p to 20p next April.

This surprise announcement from the chancellor will make the basic Income Tax rate the lowest it will be for over 75 years.
