Abbey launches ‘Green Loans’

Abbey has decided to launch green loans in a bid to encourage homeowners to jump on the eco-friendly band wagon.

Paul Morrish, product executive of loans at Abbey, says: “Abbey welcomes the government’s drive to improve home energy efficiency and believes provision of personal loans specially designed for this purpose will support this positive environmental initiative.

Accordingly, Abbey is intending to launch a range of green loans to support home improvements to enhance home energy ratings.

“We look forward to announcing full details in due course.”
