Leading UK Mortgage Packager Selects SDS

Mortgage and lending systems supplier SDS Applications Ltd has announced that Solent Mortgage Services will use its &#39SDS Maps&#39 mortgage application processing system.

Solent Mortgage Services were established in 1989 and service the whole of the UK from their head office in Lee-on-the-Solent and regional offices in Scotland, Northern Ireland and The South West.

SDS Maps features integrated &#39mortgage application specific&#39 workflow that systemises the underwriting process helping staff to focus on service provision. A task creation and management system monitors the whole process and allocates tasks to the most appropriate member of staff in order of timed priorities.

Paul Robinson, managing director at Solent Mortgage Services, says: “It is vital for Solent that we have a system that we can rely on. The mortgage industry is a competitive one and the technology that SDS has supplied us with has enabled the company to be one step ahead of its competitors.
