Trigold and CETA link-up to help insurance sales

Trigold has struck a new agreement with CETA, the UK&#39s largest general insurance network.

Over 5,000 mortgage brokers who use Trigold&#39s award-winning system will take part in a trial that will provide them with access to CETA&#39s household insurance policies.

Brokers will be able to source building and contents quotes from CETA via Trigold&#39s system. The process will be quick and easy, using information input during the mortgage sourcing process to generate insurance quotations. CETA will handle all administration and compliance issues for business written.

CETA&#39s range of household policies – 16 in total &#45 is provided by a panel of 10 insurers. Each month CETA benchmarks its products against a range of policies offered by other companies to ensure its buildings and contents policies remain the best available both in terms of price and the cover provided.

CETA managing director David Quick says: “Brokers are ideally placed to market insurance products. Buying a house is always stressful. Supplying an insurance quote alongside a mortgage recommendation makes life easier for the client and increases the chances of them taking out a policy there and then because it&#39s one less thing for them to have to worry about.”

The new agreement will also enable Trigold&#39s members to gain access to CETA&#39s ASU, travel and caravan policies. Other likely developments between the partners will see Trigold&#39s mortgage quotation system being made available to CETA&#39s 3,000 members

Quick says: “The tie-up with Trigold is very exciting as we share the same technology-driven approach to doing business. The partnership will enable members to compete effectively with the high street banks and buildings societies and generate valuable income from selling insurance products and mortgages.”

Martin Finegold, group chief executive of Trigold, says: “The alliance is a fantastic opportunity for intermediaries to take advantage of the best sourcing system and the best insurance products to provide the best service. Trigold is dedicated to providing users with the highest standards, and this partnership is evidence of that.”
