Yousefi breaks for Freedom on August 13

Freedom Lending has confirmed that Mehrdad Yousefi will be taking up his post as director of distribution and sales on August 13.

Yousefi joins Freedom Lending from the Alliance & Leicester where he is currently head of intermediary mortgages and will take responsibility for implementing and developing Freedom Lending’s distribution strategy.

He will have responsibility for field sales, corporate accounts, telesales and sales support teams and will report directly to chief executive, Colin Snowdon.

Snowdon says: “I’m delighted that an industry big hitter such as Mehrdad is joining the Freedom Lending team.

“He brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience and is highly respected in the intermediary mortgage market.

“We have an ambitious target to more than double our new business volumes during the coming year and Mehrdad’s expertise will play an essential part in helping us to realise that ambition.

Yousefi says: “Freedom Lending is perfectly poised to make a big impact on the intermediary mortgage market and being asked to play a fundamental role in the company’s future development is an exciting prospect.
