Focus Solutions secures contract with The Exchange

Focus Solutions has won a long-term contract with The Exchange to integrate goal:technology into its Exweb portal.

Exweb is currently used by over 18,500 intermediaries to research, quote and buy financial products electronically.

The Exchange, part of the Marlborough Stirling Group, will deploy Focus&#39 XML-based goal:technology to enable intermediaries to complete and submit applications online via the electronic new business service on Exweb and Exweb Gold, the next generation of the portal service.

David Child, chief operating officer at The Exchange, says: “The ability to complete electronic product applications both on and off-line is a critical part of The Exchange&#39s electronic trading strategy. Focus and its XML-based goal:technology is the best solution on the market – both for designing and building electronic products, and for deploying them in a portal environment.”

John Streets, chief executive officer of Focus Solutions, says: “Our goal:technology software will be helping up to 18,500 Exweb users to reduce their paper-based processes and conduct a greater percentage of their business online. We look forward to continuing our business relationship with The Exchange, working together to accelerate the growth of electronic trading and drive up new nusiness volumes.”
