Commercial 1 appointed exclusive provider to CMG

Specialist brokerage Commercial 1 has been appointed exclusive provider of
a raft of loans and mortgages to Connect Mortgage Group’s brokers.

The broker will now provide network secured loans, commercial mortgages and bridging finance to CMG’s brokers.

The deal means that CMG’s network of brokers will have access to Commercial 1’s customer relationship management technology ifinance.

The CRM system allows introducers to submit their enquiries through the web.

It also offers automatic credit searches, land registry searches and auto-underwriting options.

CMG has set a £3bn target for 2008. Despite challenging market conditions, the company will be looking to acquire packaging companies and smaller networks.

Adrian Dunn, managing director at CMG, says: “It is great to be working with Commercial 1 on an exclusive basis and will be a very positive benefit to our brokers.

“At CMG we are proud of the bespoke IT system that reduces administration, allowing introducers to spend more time on sales, and Commercial 1’s CRM system dovetails perfectly with our IT offering.”

Peter Turner, head of sales at Commercial 1, adds: “We have been working with CMG for a number of years now and have built a very strong relationship through our shared business philosophies.

“To now be able to exclusively offer it’s brokers secured loans, commercial mortgages and bridging finance, and lend our expertise in these areas is a very exciting proposition.
