Trigold claims it is still the top sourcing system

Trigold insists it still has the lion’s share of mortgage sourcing system users, despite Mortgage Brain poaching a number of its users.

Exclusive Connections is the latest firm to switch to Mortgage Brain after making the system its preferred mortgage technology solution for members.

Mortgage Brain is also in the process of switching its GHL app-ointed representatives onto the system as part of its migration to the Openwork network.

The latest recruits follow in the footsteps of Mortgage 2000’s Encore users, some of whom Mortgage Brain integrated into its system in February.

There are rumours that others are in the pipeline. But David Aylmer, marketing and business development director at Trigold, says it has had an overwhelming response from Encore users looking to move to Trigold.

He says: “The market is difficult at the moment and there will be fur-ther consolidation, which will result in losers and winners.

“If you look at the statistics they show Trigold has 70% of the broker marketplace.”

But Mark Lofthouse, chief executive officer of Mortgage Brain, says: “We are seeing an increase in market share across all our product areas.”
