The company has decided to include direct-only products on its sourcing system following feedback from brokers.
A search and filter facility has been developed to feature on the upcoming version of the Mortgage Brain system, to be released by the middle of next year.
This will allow brokers to review all direct and broker-only products for their clients.
Mark Lofthouse, chief executive of Mortgage Brain, says: “Having the capability to research and compare broker and direct products is something that more and more customers have been asking for.”
He says that several lenders have been reluctant to share their direct products details with Mortgage Brain and claims that this needs to change.
He adds: “To ensure that brokers can offer a truly independent and whole-of-market advisory service we are actively encouraging these lenders to reconsider their position so that we can deliver a more comprehensive solution to brokers.”
