Assurant Solutions appoints UK and Ireland MD

Assurant Solutions has appointed Drazen Jaksic to take over from Ian Moffatt with immediate effect as the company’s UK and Ireland managing director.

The promotion for Jaksic comes as Ian Moffatt takes up his new role as president and chief executive Europe of Assurant Solutions.

Drazen joined the specialist insurance company in 2007 as sales and marketing director, where he played a key role in developing the firm’s corporate business.

Prior to this he spent three years at Prudential as head of relationship management and as account development director.

He has also spent 12 years at GE Capital in a variety of senior executive roles including general manager of GE Financial Insurance, Central Europe.

Ian Moffatt, president and chief executive Europe at Assurant Solutions, says: “Drazen brings a wealth of experience to the role and his appointment will add to the strong leadership team we have at Assurant Solutions.

“His energy, enthusiasm and forward-thinking will be a key factor in taking the businesses to their next phase of growth in the UK and Ireland.”
