Rob Jupp has been good for the sector and he’ll rise again

Having had the pleasure of working for Jupp between 2001 and 2009 in various roles at companies including The OFM Group, Personal Touch Packaging and SLS I can say he is a man of honesty and integrity.

He has worked tirelessly for the greater good of the intermediary and packaging sectors for more than a decade, always being at the forefront of innovation while never being afraid of good old-fashioned hard work.

Having helped to grow SLS from the beginning into what many brokers must consider to be the market’s leading packager it was a sad day when I heard that Jupp and his colleagues had become yet more casualties of the downturn in the mortgage market.

But you can’t keep a good man down, especially one of Jupp’s stature.

SLS is a good business run by good people and I wish all my friends and former colleagues there the best of luck finding new roles.

As for Jupp, I’ll be interested to hear about his next move. You can guarantee he will shake things up again.
