The Source joins Mortgage Intelligence GI panel

The Source has joined the Mortgage Intelligence general insurance referral panel.

MI will now offer buildings and contents insurance through The Source as part of its expanded service offering.

The products available from The Source include buildings and content for multiple buy-to-let landlords, buildings and contents for high net worth clients and buildings and contents for properties let to students and low income tenants.

Members can also refer their client directly to the Mortgage Intelligence insurance team, who will handle the case from enquiry through to completion.

MI says by using the service brokers can be confident that their Treating Customers Fairly obligations will be met and also that client will remain theirs with a guarantee of no cross selling.

Sally Laker, managing director of Mortgage Intelligence, says: “The storming success of our general insurance referral service led us to explore the feasibility of expanding the panel and offering our members even more choice.

“The products provided by The Source cater for those who may ordinarily struggle to meet the criteria for standard policies or find a competitively priced premium for the cover they require.

Mick Cairns, head of sales at The Source, adds: “We have enjoyed an excellent relationship with MI and its members over the past few years and are delighted to have been selected as one their partners on the general insurance referral service.”
