PMS announces equity release referral scheme

Premier Mortgage Service has unveiled a referral scheme through equity release provider Age Partnership.

The scheme means brokers not authorised to advise on equity release can still earn referral fees.

Tim Loy, chief executive of Age Partnership, says: “Equity release is set to grow significantly and the referral service is a new outlet for PMS members to give their clients access to such products.”

Martin Reynolds, corporate manager at PMS, says: “We felt it was important to support brokers who want to help clients and protect their income.” 2006:Network Data Holdings is floated on the Alternative Investment Market2005: The Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors reports an increase in new buyer enquiries2004:HBOS drops plans to bid for Abbey and clears path for Banco Santander’s takeover of the lender2003:IFA firm Britannic Money sheds 160 staff following a restructure2002: Mortgage 2000 and Mortgage Brain announce plans for the Mortgage Trading Exchange2001: Mortgage Strategy launches as the first weekly broker title in the mortgage market
