HML beefs up its management team

Homeloan Management has boosted its credit and service teams with two key appointments.

It has appointed Mark Metcalfe as director of credit management at HML and Ian Carr as operations director of special services.

Metcalfe has over 20 years’ worth of experience in credit management, dealing with both mortgages and credit cards in Australia and UK. Prior to his appointment at HML he spent 10 years at GE.

Carr joins from Kensington where he developed its special servicing team over the past 10 years.

Brian Brodie, managing director of HML, says: “As HML continues to strengthen its service offering, our key initiative for 2008 will be the expansion of our early arrears collection programmes and the integration of a new special servicing proposition.

“HML is already a rated provider of special servicing, but in these more difficult times it is vital that we build our capability even further.”

He adds: “Metcalfe and Carr will help us demonstrate to the industry why HML is the obvious choice for any company, be it an existing or a new client, that needs help managing mortgage arrears.”
