Mortgage Advice Bureau has expanded its sales force with the appointment of a regional sales director for the Midlands and two area sales managers for the south of the UK.
David Pearce has joined MAB as the regional sales director for the Midlands and is responsible for overseeing all sales operations from Gloucester to Liverpool.
Prior to this appointment he worked as the managing director of Incresco, a specialist mortgage broker set up as a subsidiary arm of Westbury Homes.
Ian Lewin has joined MAB as an area sales manager for the south of England covering Hampshire, Surrey and Kent.
He has experience in corporate estate agency, property development and financial services.
Chris Mills will also be joining MAB as an area sales manager for the South, covering West and East Sussex.
He used to run his own business as an IFA and previously worked for many years as a field sales manager and adviser within a corporate estate agency.
Reporting to Gareth Herbert, regional sales director for the South, both managers will be responsible for adviser development and business recruitment across their regional areas.
Herbert says: I am pleased to be working with Ian and Chris in MABs southern sales team.
With the MAB name well established further north of the country it is important to have a dedicated and experienced sales team in the South.
The recruitment of both advisers and new business in this area will be key for moving the MAB brand forward.
MAB has also strengthened its presence in the North-East with the appointment of Norman ODonnell as area sales manager.
He joins from the Newcastle where he was head of sales for lifetime mortgages.
ODonnell has over 25 years experience in financial services having begun his career at Prudential with spells at Australian Mutual Provident and Norwich Union.
MAB has also appointed Andrew Marshall to assist in recruitment across the company.
