Em launches free legals on SPML

Mortgage packager em- is introducing fee legals on all of Southern Pacific Mortgage Limited’s’ sub-prime remortgages in England and Wales.

The offer, available from January 15, is an extension of the previous exclusive of free legals on remortgages from medium adverse and above.

It has been launched because of the popularity of this range, says em.

Simon Mouncher, operations director at em, says: We are delighted to be extending our free legals offer across the whole non-conforming remortgage range with SPML.

“Our offer of free legals has already proved very popular amongst brokers and intermediaries and we are positive that this additional benefit will increase the popularity of the range even further.

He adds: “As ever we have kept the end customer front of mind with our extension of the SPML offer as this, combined with our free valuations and no application fee, greatly reduces the initial outgoings for those applying for a remortgage; something which is especially important at this time of year.”
