Home Buyer Systems unveils HBSLite trial offer

Home Buyer Systems is offering brokers the chance to try out its HBSlite system over the Christmas holiday.

For £10.00 brokers will have access to the sourcing, service and compliance system from today through to January 2.

Brokers wishing to take advantage of this one-off opportunity to trial HBSLite for a fortnight need to apply via the website:

HBSLite gives brokers the ability to source direct-to-lender products in addition to broker-based products from the whole-of-market Defaqto database.

It also provides all necessary compliance documentation needed to make an FSA-compliant recommendation and generates a letter of authority informing the lender that the customer gives the broker the authority to act on their behalf.

Richard Angliss, managing director of HBS, says: “Our latest HBS Index shows once again that the best broker products can be up to £5400.00 more expensive for the borrower over two years than the best direct-to-lender product.

“It also shows that broker products are in the minority across all LTV bands and especially at the higher LTVs. This situation means that brokers who say that they are “independent” or can supply from “whole of market” increasingly need to have access to direct-to-lender products – which is what HBSLite does.”

Affordable housing is not immune from the downturn and the government is looking at ways to boost it and increase the number of homes available to buyers who are unable to purchase on the open market.
