Down and out

Robert Sinclair, director of the Association of Finance Brokers, delivered a blinder at the recent Pan Credit/Mortgage Strategy networking event in Soho.

“A recession is when your neighbour loses his job,” he told the great and the good of the secured loans industry. “A depression is when you lose your job, and a recovery is when chancellor Alistair Darling loses his job.”

Amen to that.
