Record numbers expected for first Property Investor Show North

Organisers of The Property Investor Show North, a comprehensive event for landlords, property entrepreneurs and buy-to-let investors, are expecting a record number of visitors when it is held at Manchester&#39s G-MEX on June 18-20 2004.

In response to its popularity and the growing trend for property investors to look north for their next opportunity, the first ever Property Investor Show North is being held in Manchester. Held in London for the past two years, the show last year attracted over 11,000 visitors over a three-day period.

Opening the show will be the star of Channel 4&#39s popular TV series Selling Houses, Andrew Winter, who will be providing consultations on his own stand, 1st4homes, on Friday June 18.

There will be 135 exhibitors and a 90-strong programme of seminars covering topics from arranging finance, understanding rental demand and investing abroad to choosing the property and how to market it.

Nick Clark, managing director of Homebuyer Events, the show&#39s organisers, says: “The Property Investor Show North has been launched in response to the popularity of the Property Investor Show held at London&#39s ExCel Centre. The show highlighted that the north of the country is popular for property investors and we thought it was logical to hold a show in Manchester.”

Clark adds: “We are fortunate to have a selection of the world&#39s foremost authorities on property investment speaking at the show. Whether you are just starting out or are an experienced property investor, the show is designed to offer information to interest you and help you make the most of your investments. Topics cover every aspect of the market from a general information overview on the year ahead in property to specifics such as urban regeneration and investing abroad.”

The show will cover both commercial and residential property investment opportunities across the north of the country. Areas such as Leeds, Newcastle, Liverpool and Manchester have provided attractive returns for investors in recent years and this trend looks set to continue.

Tickets can be purchased at the ticket office or at www.propertyinvestor.co.uk for £7.50 until 6pm on Thursday June 17. Book your ticket online to receive entry into two seminars (must be reserved online) and a free show guide worth £5.
