igroup appoints broker training specialist

igroup has announced the appointment of Helena Lee as broker training manager in the northern regional sales team. Lee will report to Brian West, head of broker sales.

Helena was previously a processing team manager with a mortgage intermediary. In her new position, she will work closely with igroup&#39s supporting brokers to help improve their understanding of the lender&#39s underwriting requirements and processes, including the iZone interactive website. Lee will also liaise with her BDM colleagues and the originations team to use her specialist skills and capabilities to help develop igroup&#39s overall sales and broker support proposition.

Lee says: “I&#39m delighted to have joined a business with such a great track record and reputation for its commitment to intermediaries. Having spent the last five years working for an intermediary, I know better than most how important this is, particularly as we enter a new era of regulation. Amongst my key tasks, I&#39m looking forward to maintaining andsupporting the strong relationships already forged between igroup and its brokers. This is a focussed and important role, and a real opportunity for me to contribute to a further raising of the high quality of service delivered by igroup in recent years.”
