Brokers back MS to take TMW Euro 2004 crown

Betting on The Mortgage Works charity five-a-side football tournament on June 21 went supernova last week with Mortgage Strategy clear favourites to win the title.

Visitors to Mortgage Strategy Online punting to win a jeroboam of champagne reckon the scribblers&#39 team is tops for the title, ranking Alexander Hall a close second.

After a dazzling display at Molyneux last month at the BM Solutions charity match, James Rodea&#39s Hamptons players seemed nailed-on favourites, but brokers think otherwise with seven out of 10 expecting the MS team to triumph.

But an upbeat Rodea says: “Steve Smith and Richard Verlander both played well in the BMS charity game. Despite Steve missing a penalty in the shoot-out he scored a cracking volley in the game and I&#39ve every confidence he will do so again to take us to victory.”
