Advisers will always be in the driving seat due to their service

It came as no surprise to see in Mortgage Strategy’s leader last week entitled ’Brokers still in driving seat’ that brokers have a dominant market share.Even when offering better deals via branches, lenders will always struggle to achieve any sort of critical mass.

Their staff are confined to working between 9am and 5pm and customers are left hanging on the phone for answers, with calls often routed via another continent.

Brokers offer far better service and always will.

Survey looks at the challenges facing businesses post auto-enrolment

A survey conducted by Johnson Fleming at the Pension & Benefits Show 2014 highlighted the key challenges faced within organisations post auto-enrolment. The results showed that communicating the changes and the value of them to staff, and receiving timely data from the payroll provider proved to still be the most challenging aspects of managing an auto-enrolment scheme.
